1. Pricing

1.1 All pricing on this website is quoted in Australian Dollars. The Gift Boutique is not currently registered for GST.

 

2. Gift Cards

2.1 A Gift Boutique Gift Card is an electronic voucher that is emailed from the website directly to the recipient, chosen by the buyer at the checkout. A Gift Card can be sent to and used by any person around the world.

2.2 A Gift Boutique Gift Card can only be used on The Gift Boutique website http://www.thegiftboutique.com.au/.

2.3 The Gift Boutique Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.

2.4 Gift cards should be treated as cash. The recipient of the gift card should print the electronic voucher from the email in case of any computer failures or loss of email. The Gift Boutique will not reissue gift cards.

2.5 When using the Gift Card, the recipient can choose the value that they wish to spend on each order placed, meaning the whole voucher does not have to be used at once.

2.6 The Gift Boutique Gift Cards have an expiry date of six (6) months from date of purchase.

2.7 If a dispute arises with respect to a gift card the matter will need to be addressed by the purchaser of the certificate.

3. Delivery

3.1 Multiple Packages

3.1.1 You may receive your order in one or more packages as some items may be required to be shipped directly from our manufacturer or supplier if we do not have an item in stock to ensure quick delivery to you. No extra charges apply for this service.

 

3.2 Within Australia

3.2.1 The Gift Boutique offers free standard delivery within Australia for orders over AU$150.00.

3.2.2 Items are delivered using Australia Post and other courier services.

3.2.3 Orders are processed within 24 hours of the order being placed, Monday - Friday (excluding Australian public holidays), although we endeavour to get all orders out on the same day.

3.2.4 Delivery of orders to metropolitan areas may take 3 - 10 business days for arrival once processed. Delivery of orders to rural, remote islands, or remote parts of Australia such as NT or WA may take 4 -12 business days to be delivered. We will contact you as soon as possible if we are unable to ship your order immediately.

3.2.5 In the unlikely event that you do not receive your order within one week of ordering, please check your letterbox for a calling card, and your nearest post office, as parcels are often waiting there for your collection. Alternatively you may contact us directly at diana@thegiftboutique.com.au and we will assist in tracking down your order.

 

3.3 International Delivery

3.3.1 The Gift Boutique delivers to all countries internationally.

3.3.2 Orders are processed within 24 hours of the order being placed, Monday - Friday (excluding Australian public holidays), although we endeavour to get all orders out on the same day.

3.3.3 Delivery may take 10 - 15 business days.

3.3.4 Customers are to pay the cost of delivery as indicated on checkout.

3.3.5 Delivery charges do not include any customs charges or overseas duties that you may incur. The Gift Boutique recommends that all customers purchasing from our store, with an international delivery address, check for customs charges at their local customs office within their country before making a purchase.

3.3.6 Customs charges may apply to some international orders depending on the weight and/or value of the parcel. As each country has different charges and policies we are unable to provide more detailed information.

3.3.7 The Gift Boutique will not be held responsible for any parcels that customers have refused to pay the customs charges on in that country. The purchaser will be held liable for any charges incurred.

 

4. Returns and Exchanges

4.1 Goods must be returned in original condition, with all tags and packaging intact within seven (7) days.

4.2 The customer will be responsible for any costs incurred to return goods.

4.3 For hygiene reasons earrings, pierced body jewellery, and  lingerie cannot be exchanged or returned unless faulty.

4.4 We do not accept seasonal items after the season has ended or sale items that are no longer stocked for change-of-mind. All sale items are final. No exchanges or refunds.

 

5. Faulty Products

5.1 The Gift Boutique does its best to ensure that all customers receive goods of top quality.

5.2 In the situation where you believe that a product is faulty, or different from the description provided on the website, please contact diana@thegiftboutique.com.au  immediately and we will try to resolve the issue as quick as possible. All returns must be pre-arranged with management and returned to The Gift Boutique within 7 days of purchase.

5.3 The returned goods will be examined and if the product is identified as faulty, the customer will be reimbursed cost of goods excluding return postage costs. We reserve the right to refuse a product that does not meet these requirements. You will be notified via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

 

6. Out Of Stock Items

6.1 In the case the product you ordered was confirmed in stock when you ordered but your product became out of stock after the payment was confirmed we will contact you immediately and offer you an alternative product or refund for the out of stock item.

 

7. Children & Online Shopping Policy

7.1 Children should always ask a parent before sending information or credit card details over the Internet.

7.2 It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to monitor children's internet usage, and The Gift Boutique accepts no liability for charges made by minors.

 

8. Guarantees & Warranties

8.1 The Gift Boutique strives to offer customers high quality products, however no guarantees are made to the quality of products offered for sale.

8.2 We will be obligated by statutorily imposed consumer guarantees.

8.2 The Gift Boutique does not offer any warranties other than those statutorily imposed.

 

 

9. Governing Law & Severance

9.1 Your use of The Gift Boutique website and its terms of use and purchase are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there.

9.2 If any term is prohibited by law or judged by a court to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, the term shall, to the extent required, be severed from this agreement and rendered ineffective as far as possible without modifying the remaining terms and conditions, and shall not in any way affect any other circumstances of or the validity or enforcement of this agreement.
